Tuesday, January 16, 2018 – The State is Closed Until Further Notice

To the other 49 states, please note that because of global warming, the state of Texas is closed today due to sleet, snow, ice and well-digger cold temperatures.

Plans call for parts of the state to reopen after midnight. Until then, stay indoors, cover your petunias, and hunker down with the four basic food groups – sweet, salty, alcohol and chocolate.

To my golf friends – don’t forget our tee time Saturday; it will be 67 degrees. I love Texas!
